The company

WĘGLOHUT was established in 1998 and from the beginning our main core business area has been coke and coal trade. We started in the local market, however with time passing, we daringly entered new territories, speaking both figuratively and literally.

Currently, we deliver products to small companies and to global consortiums, to our local partners and those based overseas. It does not matter where, but with whom…

At the beginning, we used road transport, and now we deliver cargo practically by all means of transportation.

Only in few regions like Silesia, mineshafts, chimneys of coking plants and ironworks, as well as hundreds of transport trails have become part of the landscape. Logistics

It's the logistics, stupid
We are aware that it is mostly the logistics that is crucial for success in business. We listen and willingly share our experience in this area. Cars or trains, barges or ships? Large containers or multimodal transport? (planes are used only for delivering samples). Thanks to diverse utilization of various means of transport, we are practically capable of delivering any amount of coke to every place of the world.

Coke in Containers

For the last ten years we have been arranging regular and mass coke shipments in containers. The first such shipment was a great surprise for everyone. “This cannot prove successful!” – they used to say. Now all admit that coke transported in containers makes sense.

Thanks to the application of containers, coke during the whole process of transportation is locked in one ‘package’. This means that its quality is not affected by weather conditions or reloading activities to other vehicles.

Coke. Coal

Our coke is successfully used by companies from the steel, metallurgical, lime, sugar and chemical sectors. We also supply foundries and mineral wool producers. Our coal is transported to cement plants, sugar factories, chemical and power plants.

Thanks to the cooperation with many producers we can offer various types and granulations of coal and coke (industrial fuel, blast-furnace coke, metallurgical and foundry coke). As well as those unusual ones, manufactured upon a special order.

Each of these sectors expects the best quality. And for each of them the notion ‘quality’ bears a different meaning. This is why operating as an agent and knowing the customers’ needs, we try to find the best suited producer.

Our coke is no longer just a mere commodity. Our coke is the brand. We only deliver the cargo from the verified sources.
